1-2-3-Punkrock, screaming girls, flying underwear. How could it be, how could it be, another dirty Punkrock day again (from our song Punkday)

Tell us about your most memorable gig and why it was so great?

BURGER WURGER

Roland / Dieter: The come back show of Bürger Würger (Dec. 2005): No one expected that we play again and than we had this great show. Timo: I can’t remember, so I think it was pretty awesome

Tell us about your worst gig and why it was so bad?

BURGER WURGER

Roland: With the band Amoklauf in a church. Dieter: With the band Intensiffstation in Schramberg. It took only 10 minutes... Timo: there’s no thing like a worst gig

Tell Us About Your Dream Gig, who you'd like to play with, where?

BURGER WURGER

We would like to use our time machine and play with Sex Pistols on the river Thames in London in 1977

Do you believe commercial/mainstream music has had a negative effect on new music, why or why not?

BURGER WURGER

Yes! Commercial TV stations support too many casted bands. These bands are just products of the industry. There is too less support of creative musicians.

Has the internet really been helpful to your promotion, why or why not?

BURGER WURGER

Yes! It’s easier to get in contact with other bands, locations and labels. And it’s so fast. It provides a better promotion with photos and mp3‘s.

Do you have a website, tell us about it?

BURGER WURGER

We have 2: http://www.punk77.de --> All about Bürger Würger. 1977 Punk was born. So luckily we could get this domain name. http://www.steigerung.de --> we have no plan for this website. So we add and remove the content just like we want to do.

Do you have a street team and how can you join?

No we all have a driving licence (and what the hell is a street team?)

Are you looking to get a record deal, why or why not?

BURGER WURGER

Yes, but only with suitable conditions. We don’t want to sell us. We want to propagate Schpaudl-punk global.

What are your plans for the future, in a year, 5 years?

BURGER WURGER

We don’t have a future, we have a time machine.
