I'm Laurent B, the right hand guitarist of the French Thrash Metal Band called DEADLYSINS!

What is your band's name? How did you come up with that name?

DEADLYSINS

We are DeadlySins. In fact in a rough Brainstorming, we were looking for a name. We picked some song names we liked. Iron Savior have a song called Deadly Sleep and we thought it was cool BUT in French when you say sleep it means "Panties". so we didn't want to be called "The Deadly Panties" So we chose DeadlySins

So who's in the band and what instruments do you each play?

In DeadlySins, you have:
Mat :lead singer
Lambert : Bass and backing vocals
Kevin : Mighty blasting drums
LB : Left Hand guitar
LK: Right Hand Guitar

How would you describe your sound. What makes you unique?

DEADLYSINS

I'll start with what makes us unique.. I Think that it's really our state of mind, We are really in a thrashy way. We want to enjoy kicking some ass and giving all the energy we have. Drinking beers, saying bullshits, enjoy and enjoy. Our sound is in the same way, we try to make it as loud and powerful as possible. We do our best to give a good dimension to the tracks we create. I don't know if we're really unique but when we are on stage, the pit's going fucking crazy and that's what we like!

What bands have influenced each of you?

DEADLYSINS

Our more evident influences are the old school band from Bay Area and Germany scenes like : Testament, Exodus, Slayer, Kreator, Destruction, Sodom, Tankard?.. But we also came from different scene and we put all good things in our music. I really like Disco music but I don't understand why my band mate always say no about incorporating it. LOL l want to be serious, all styles of music have good things. We listen to a lot of styles and take what we love but we always go back to our Thrash roots!

How experienced are you on the stage, a virgin or whore?

DEADLYSINS

We have played in many different places: big stage with professional bands, cellar of a building full of people, in a restaurant with less then ten guys. One day, we were playing on a truck. Anotherone where we were forced to play an acoustic thrash metal set because our drummer wasn't here. To make a good gig, it is not the place which is important. For us, it's the audience. If the pit is brutal and friendly, we have a good time. The awful thing is, we played in a small bar and the boss came to tell us and asked. Can you play more quietly please. Fuck off ! We play Thrash metal. We play loud. People listen but they also have to feel the power of the music. Then the pit is moshing, people drink beers and vibrations make the girls wet.

How would you describe your shows?

DEADLYSINS

Our shows are a kick of adrenaline in your face ! from the beginning 'til the end we give all we have. The experience has to be violent, groovy and restless. when a DeadlySins show is over, your neck is broken. You can't talk anymore. You are as wet as if you had been in a pool. You want more but you can't afford more. At least that's what we want to give to the audience !

Tell us about your favorite show and why?

DEADLYSINS

As I said before, we had the honor to open for big names as The Haunted, Municipal Waste, Death Angel.. I would say Death Angel because it was in a small Bar but the experience was really intense and Death Angel are just amazing. We could talk with them as if they were mates from school. Really Great !

Tell us about your worst show and why?

DEADLYSINS

We had the honor to have some catastrophic shows hahaha. The worst shows were when the only audience are the members of the other bands you play with. It ends in a big rehearsal but it's really horrible.

Tell Us About Your Dream Show, who you'd like to play with and where?

DEADLYSINS

This is my answer, my mates would tell you a different answer. It would be with one of these bands : TANKARD or KREATOR where? Anywhere!!!! Just thrashing, kicking some asses and drink beers!! yeah

What are your plans for the future, in a year, 5 years?

DEADLYSINS

We've just released our new album called "Anticlockwise" so we want to play it live all over the world (lol). We are looking for good shows. We are already starting writing new songs for a next album so the show must go on !! Stay Tuned In five years i Hope we'll play on very big scenes supporting our new albums.
